Seasoned business owners and entrepreneurs Robin Emerson and Larry Bearfield are the managing officers of Carlisle Center Ventures, LLC. Together we actively manage Ferns Country Store and allied businesses. We've been business partners for over 20 years as owners of Boston-based firms. Between us we have over 50 years of successful entrepreneurial experience in professional services, strategic consumer marketing, product development, line extensions, new product launching, customer acquisition programs and brand management. Our experience includes extensive work in consumer goods marketing including the resort and tourism industries. In December 2003, we decided to consolidate our lives and acquired the store. Using our extensive backgrounds in consumer marketing we did a makeover of the store and set it on a new course as Ferns Country Store. Most certainly, because we are also Carlisle residents, we have the understanding of the town's needs as well as the passion and determination to drive Ferns Country Store to success.
