England Coffee chooses only the finest 100% Arabica
coffee beans from Central America, South America,
Eastern Africa, and the East Indies, fresh-roasted
for consistently exceptional taste and quality. Ferns
offers New England Coffees superb blends, delicious
flavored coffees, exotic varietals, and full-bodied
roasts to suit every taste.
Every
day batches of coffee beans are roasted by hand and
"cupped" (taste tested) for quality control.
Scientific taste profiles and computerized roasting
helps maintain the consistency of every cup.
New
England Coffee produces five coffee categories: "Flavored"
coffees - created by combining the New England Breakfast
Blend with the finest flavorings (with no fat or cholesterol);
"Blends" - a mixture of two or more coffees,
which compliment each other's taste; "Varieties"
- straight, unblended coffees, offering the flavor
of their distinct bean varieties; "Decaf"
-97% caffeine-free with all the great taste of regular
coffee; and finally a "French Roast" - for
those who love drip-brewing or espresso.

Freshly ground EyeOpener (regular) -- An American
Post Blend that is a mixture of light and dark coffees
blended after roasting. Kind of the best of the blends
coming together!
Kauai -- Kauai Estate Reserve Coffee comes
from the "Garden Island" of Kauai in Hawaii
where the Pacific sun, rich volcanic earth, clean
mountain rain, and cool trade winds combined create
ideal conditions for growing excellent 100% Hawaiian
coffee that you will savor. Kauai is a pleasantly
aromatic City Roast with an even chestnut brown color,
also referred to as "medium" roast. It's
smooth, mellow taste features a medium body with balanced
acidity.
New England Full City Roast - A more robust,
dark brown, developing the full flavor potential of
the bean.
Fair Trade Decaf - 97% caffeine-free Fair Trade
Certified Coffee that is grown by approximately 300
farmer cooperatives in over 22 countries across Latin
America, Africa, and Asia. More than 550,000 farmers
and their families around the world are connected
to the Fair Trade market.

The
Republic of Tea sells only full-leaf teas made from
hand picked young shoots, the two leaves and a bud
that sprout from the very tip of the tea bush. The
whole leaves retain their unique essential oils and
are full-bodied and deliciously aromatic. This full-leaf
experience is better tasting and much more diverse
in its range of subtle flavors than the teas that
other companies sell. While we encourage drinking
full-leaf tea whenever possible, we offer the finest
teas you will find in a bag. Each single cup serving
is made from round, natural, unbleached paper and
is free from wasteful envelopes, tags and string.
The
Republic of Tea sells full-leaf tea because it's simply
better tasting and much more diverse in its range
of subtle flavors than the cut leaves or tea dust
you will find in most tea bags.
All
of our teas undergo correct crafting to ensure that
we offer only the finest, freshest, healthiest teas
in the world. As an example, unlike other tea companies
which use ethyl acetate to dacaf their teas, our decaf
teas are decaffeinated using an all natural CO2/ high
pressure process, a process that is more costly but
retains the valuable health promoting properties of
tea.
